CONTENT INSPECTION

Once opening up your DS-300 package, the package shall include the following parts:

1 x DS-300 WiMAX MODEM
1 x ETHERNET CABLE
1 x INSTALLATION GUIDE
1 x POWER ADAPTER

INSTALLATION PROCEDURES

Step 1. Power Up

Plug the Power Adapter into the AC Outlet, and Adapter’s DC tip into the DS-300 power connector.
The Blue POWER LED ( ) shall be ON when power is turned on .



Step 2. Establishing WiMAX Connection

Once powered on, DS-300 will establish the WiMAX service by itself.
The followings will occur in order automatically.
a) Red LED Blinking: Bringing up the wireless link
b) Yellow LED Blinking: User authentication
c) Green LED Blinking: DHCP client negotiation



Note:
If all LED lights are still blinking in sequence after 5 minutes, the service might not be available in the location. Reposition and adjust your DS-300 placement may help. If the problem still persists, please contact P1 Customer Support.

Step 3. CPE Alignment

Position and adjust your DS-300 location to get maximum signal quality.
It is recommended that the modem is placed nearby windows.
WiMAX signal quality indication:
a) Red LED is on: Weak
b) Yellow LED is on: Good
c) Green LED is on: Excellent

Step 4. Computer Connectivity

Connect one end of the Ethernet Cable to the Ethernet connector of DS-300, and the other end to the Ethernet connector of computer. The computer shall be set to obtain an IP address automatically (DHCP setting) accordingly as per your operation system manual. The blue LAN LED light ( ) shall be ON if the cable is plugged in correctly and securely on both ends.



Note:
You have now successfully installed the DS-300 modem. Please open the Internet Explorer application on your computer and visit P1 website (http://www.p1.com.my/). You shall be able to access Internet. If you can’t access the P1 website, please check the signal indicators on the top of DS-300 and follow the installation procedure again.

Limited Warranty Statement

Green Packet Berhad and its Affiliates warrants to Green Packet’s Product that it will be in good working order for a period of one year from the date of purchase from Green Packet or an authorized Green Packet reseller. During the term of the warranty, should this Product, in Green Packet’s opinion, malfunction, Green Packet will, at its option, repair or replace it free of charge, excluding shipment cost for the user to a Green Packet point of sales.

This warranty is void in case the Product has been subject to misuse, abuse, misapplication, use outside the intended application or in case the Product has been modified, altered and/or repaired in a way not authorized by Green Packet. All parts and Products that are replaced shall become the property of Green Packet. Green Packet has the right to replace faulty products with used (“refurbished”) products, at its own discretion.

IN NO EVENT SHALL GREEN PACKET, ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, SHAREHOLDERS OR REPRESENTATIVES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES WHATSOEVER,
